Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D.) Information

Your body is sending a message… are you listening?  Do you experience painful cramping in legs, hips, thighs or calves when walking, climbing stairs or exercising?  Does the pain go away with rest?  You may suffer from a medical condition called Peripheral Artery Disease, or P.A.D.

P.A.D. occurs when fatty deposits build up in the artery walls causing blockages that restrict blood flow to the kidneys, stomach, arms, legs and feet. When left undiagnosed or untreated this condition can be fatal.

Fairchild Medical Center offers a simple, non-invasive screening to detect P.A.D.  Call you doctor to request a P.A.D. screening.

Don’t let P.A.D. affect your active lifestyle and don’t ignore the symptoms - learn more:
